Gubser Elementary School will be the first school to substantially complete construction in the 2018 Bond Program!
In March 2019, Gubser Elementary School began construction for major renovations and improvements under the 2018 bond program. The work will be substantially complete before the end of summer, and Gubser Elementary will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony before Labor Day weekend to celebrate!
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 5:30 p.m. at Gubser Elementary. The celebration will include remarks from elected officials and district representatives, cutting of the ribbon by Gubser Elementary students and a tour of all the changes.
Thanks to the community’s support of the 2018 bond, Gubser Elementary has received four new classrooms, a new cafeteria and kitchen, removal of all portable classrooms and safety and security improvements to the front entry.
